With an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Lakehead University, I began my journey in the healing arts in 1996 as a chiropractic assistant to Dr. Dan Gleeson. My time at the Gleeson Clinic deeply inspired me to explore somatic practices and consciousness studies. By 2009, I had completed my practitioner training in the Trager Approach and established my own practice.
As my practice grew, I began observing recurring patterns of trauma in clients, which prompted me to pursue advanced training in trauma-informed care. During this period, I trained with Nkem Ndefo and became a certified facilitator of the Resilience Toolkit. I subsequently earned a diploma in Social Service Work at Confederation College and have completed practitioner training in Somatic Experiencing.
In 2018, I expanded my work further by completing practitioner training in Biofield Tuning (sound healing). I have continued to refine my approach through advanced post-certification studies with Kathy Kain, Matthew Licata, and the Centre for Applied Jungian Studies.
I am passionate about exploring and navigating consciousness. My experience and training has given me the unique ability to meet people where they are, and to create and hold space for them. This has allowed an increased capacity for my clients to access, feel, explore, regulate and navigate their lived experiences and their whole being -- to ultimately embrace, embody and expand into their true self.
